Welcome to Bingify! By using our app, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Using Bingify

Bingify is a movie and TV show tracking application. By using our service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating an account (if you choose to)
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Be at least 13 years old to use the service
• Use the app in compliance with all applicable laws

2. Account

Creating an account is optional. You can use Bingify without an account, but your data will only be stored locally on your device.

If you create an account:

• You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You can delete your account at any time through the app settings
• We use passwordless authentication via email - you'll receive a code to sign in

3. Content and Data

Bingify uses data from The Movie Database (TMDB) to provide information about movies and TV shows:

• All movie/TV data, images, and ratings come from TMDB
• We do not own or control this content
• Availability and accuracy of content depends on TMDB

Your watchlist and preferences belong to you. We store this data to provide the service.

4. Third-Party Services

Bingify can connect to third-party services like Trakt.tv, Jellyfin, and Plex:

• Connecting these services is optional
• You're responsible for complying with their terms of service
• We're not responsible for issues with third-party services
• You can disconnect these services at any time

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Use automated systems or bots to access the service excessively
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Resell or redistribute the service

6. Intellectual Property

Bingify and its original content (excluding TMDB data) are owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws.

TMDB content is provided under their terms and belongs to their respective owners.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Bingify available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee:

• Uninterrupted access to the service
• That the service will be error-free
• Availability of all features at all times
• Accuracy of TMDB data (which we don't control)

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

Bingify is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for third-party service outages or data
• We are not liable for data loss if you use the app without an account

9. Account Termination

You can delete your account at any time through the app settings. We may also terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Bingify after changes means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
